Journey Groups
Our journey groups meet seasonally in homes and public spaces scattered across many boroughs of Pittsburgh for 4-6 weeks at a time. When journey groups are not meeting, we have Travelers Triangles (groups of 2-3 people) and other gatherings. Journey groups meet weekly from 6:30-7:45 pm. We typically eat some light hors d’oeuvres, share about our lives in the past week, study and discuss God’s Word together, pray for one another and others, and sometimes just have parties! We believe groups are one of the best ways to experience and share God’s love. You are encouraged to participate in groups regardless of wherever you may be on your spiritual journey. We have food, Bible, and a journal with your name on it, are already praying for you, and expect you soon!
Groups care for one another and pursue Jesus together. We do this through enjoying time together over a meal, studying God’s Word together, praying for one another and others, and serving our community as groups identify passion projects.
Groups are open invitation! Wherever you are at on your spiritual and life journey, we believe you will find immense value walking with a group together. Because of meals and space in homes or public places, we do ask you to let us know when you want to visit a group so we can always be prepared for you!
Groups often develop close friendships, but those take time. There is absolutely no obligation to commit to any particular regularity in joining groups, but think you will want to once you feel like it’s your second home. Our goal is to serve one another, not grow groups. As we serve one another, groups grow and multiply so we can share what we have with others.
We don’t post group meeting addresses online so we can give group leaders expectations to prepare for company. To visit a group this week, fill out the form below and we’ll reach out with a text/call to find the best group for you!
